welcome to the REBIRTH. the remembering. the welcoming back home.

after a creative hiatus of many months, I birthed this collection.

‘this rebirth is a call back to Spirit- to the breath of the ancestors. to be baptized in the blood, the sweat, the tears of those that have come before us, is to be purified and made anew. this time is a moment of clarity- a moment that signifies deliverance from low vibrating energies and thoughts. it is a time to lean into the sacred knowing that all that we are made of, comes off the backs of those involved in deeply entrenched sacrifices. this is the thank you letter- the ‘I owe it to you’ vow. this rebirth signifies to all of us that the time to return to the water is now. we get to come home to a deeper, more intuitive, more enchanted version of ourselves. named for my grandmother Ola Mae, ‘The River of Ola’ signifies purity, cleansing, and Black southern river baptisms. the white hue is for the white garments that adorned the bodies of those being dipped in the river to come up anew.
